Leys Farm, Exmoor

Foxtwitchen is in the heart of Exmoor, surrounded by countryside but only half a mile from village of Withypool on the River Barle. Tarr Steps and Landacre Bridge are within easy reach, and we are only 8 miles from the Exmoor coastline, as the crow flies (14 by road). We have 7 acres, with a selection of farm animals, Dexter cows, a Gloucester old spot pig who has piglets once or twice a year, turkeys and chickens, not forgetting the pet dogs and cats!
Foxtwitchen Cottage has been recently converted from an old stone barn, with magnificent views across Withypool common and a private garden. It sleeps up to 4 people in 2 double/twin bedrooms with en-suite facilities. Leys Cottage is a traditional farmhouse with pretty garden, magnificent views, wood burning fire and Aga (not on in July or August - too hot!). It sleeps up to 6 people in double/twin bedrooms, one shower room and one bathroom. Both are fully equipped to a very high standard Dog and Children welcome. But NO SMOKING.

  • Accommodation: 2 cottages, sleeping 4 and 6
  • Prices: £333 to £981 per week
